Meet Victoria
As founder of La Maison, Victoria Daniel-Cape maintains the highest standards of excellence when it comes to creating beautiful spaces for her clients. Her personalized design approach combined with more than a decade of industry experience has earned her an impeccable reputation for her work. Victoria works closely with her clients, and chooses craftsmen and vendors, to ensure that every element of a space is carefully considered and flawlessly executed.
Victoria discovered her love for design from a very young age. As a child, she was always rearranging items in her family home and working on projects to beautify her space. This passion stayed with her into adulthood and grew stronger during her extensive travel throughout Europe. In 2000, Victoria decided to follow her growing passion for design by opening a home decor, antique and gardening shop in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Inspired by her favorite city, Paris, she named her shop La Maison. Victoria quickly grew a regular customer base at La Maison. Her customers admired her exquisite taste and would often ask her for advice on their home design projects. This sparked Victoria’s interior design career. In 2011, Victoria closed the La Maison storefront and decided to concentrate on interior design under the same business name.
Today, Victoria serves clients in Knoxville and the surrounding areas. She works on projects of all sizes, from thoughtfully repurposing a client’s existing home furnishings to providing full design assistance during new home construction. She helps clients blend beauty with functionality to curate a space that inspires their daily life.
Victoria’s Design Philosophy
“A home should be like a good book. It should tell a story of your journey that brings you joy and energizes your soul.”
